Travel time
The duration of a stay with IDTrek is to be counted from the pick-up of the customer at his meeting point according to the trip until the end of his stay at the drop-off point according to the trip.
The customer is responsible for reserving his international flight “outward and return” between his place of departure and the country of travel.
IDTrek advises the customer on the flights, schedules and airlines that can take him to the meeting point and on the exact date of his arrival.
Customers arriving before the scheduled date of the trip or for trips that do not take into account transfers between the meeting place and the airport or hotels while waiting to be able to get to the meeting point organize themselves even their transfer and accommodation while waiting for the start of the trip with IDTrek.
Insurance
Each participant in a trip with IDTrek will have contracted before their trip at least:
- repatriation insurance
- accident insurance
- health insurance
- insurance against theft of equipment and personal effects
- trip cancellation insurance
For adventure-type trips, with high mountains, trekking or other adventure sports :
- insurance covering any rescue costs.
Health
The participant in a sports stay checks with his doctor, before his departure, that he has no contraindications to the intensive practice of sport and walking, more particularly at altitude.
The participant having to follow a particular treatment and having to take medication will take with him the necessary for the duration of the stay. In case of loss of these during the stay, he will make sure to be able to explain their composition to a doctor in order to buy on the spot and at his expense the equivalent medicine(s).
Insurance
IDTrek n’est pas responsable des perturbations de voyage dues à la météo et aux éléments naturels avant, durant et après le voyage. En cas de perturbations durant la durée du voyage, aucun frais ne pourra être remboursé et IDTrek se réserve le droit de modifier l’itinéraire voire d’écourter le voyage.
IDTrek peut décider l’annulation de tout ou partie du séjour en cas de force majeure et pour assurer la sécurité des voyageurs. Si une telle annulation devait se produire avant le départ depuis l’Europe durant les 30 jours avant le début du voyage, le voyage ne sera pas remboursé et le client fera valoir son assurance annulation.
Cancellation and disruptions
IDTrek is not responsible for travel disruptions that may be related to strikes in the country of transit, travel or in the country of residence of travelers, weather disruptions anywhere in the world, as well as political instability or war. In the event of disruptions during the duration of the trip, no costs can be reimbursed and IDTrek reserves the right to modify the itinerary or even shorten its duration.

IDTrek may decide to cancel all or part of the stay in the event of force majeure and to ensure the safety of travelers. If such a cancellation should occur before departure from Europe during the 30 days before the start of the trip, the trip will not be reimbursed and the customer will claim his cancellation insurance.
Cancellation of an entire group
For any cancellation of a trip (all members of the group cancel their trip) that will be done more than 90 days before the first day of the trip, IDTrek will refund 70% of the total price if the trip has already been fully paid, without any other costs cancellation.
For any cancellation of the trip that will be between 30 and 90 days before the first day of the trip, IDTrek will refund 30% of the total price, without any other cancellation fees.
For any cancellation of the trip during the 30 days before the start of the trip, there will be no refund. It is therefore strongly recommended to take out cancellation insurance for your trip.
Cancellation of one or more member(s) of a groupp
Whatever the date of the cancellation, there will be no refund. Because otherwise it will not be possible to maintain the trip at the same price for the remaining travelers. It is therefore strongly recommended to take out cancellation insurance for your trip.
No-show
Anyone who does not show up at the meeting place on the first day of the trip will not be reimbursed.
International flights
For all the aforementioned cases of cancellation, IDTrek does not take care of the terms of reimbursement of the international flight to the country of travel.
Cancellation insurance
Each participant is free to take out cancellation insurance with the organization of their choice.
Visa et passeports
Each participant, depending on their nationality and country of origin, will check whether their papers are in order to stay in the country of travel.
He will check in particular if he needs a visa to enter the countries, if his passport is valid for at least 6 months after the end of his stay in the countries in question and if his papers are in order to return to his country of residence at the end of his stay.
A participant stopping over in the United States of America will check that his documents are in order for a stopover in this country.
Payment
The entire trip must be paid for when ordering before the start of the trip.
Payment by the participant confirms that the customer has read and accepted the conditions mentioned in this document.
Payment by the customer confirms the reservation. As long as payment has not been made, the reservation is not guaranteed.
When paying, the participant also confirms to IDTrek that he has purchased a plane ticket to the country of travel on the dates and times (arrival and departure) agreed upon together.
All payment is made in Euro on the account that we will communicate to you.
